Scientists are Working on A Cure

Scientists are currently working on a cure for meth addiction and cure for marijuana addictions. The National Institute on Drug Abuse has made research into curing meth and other stimulant drug addictions a priority. There are a few treatments such as AV411 in clinical trials but it will be years before an effective drug is approved by the FDA. This and other drugs are on the horizon but counseling and supportive treatment are now the best answer to treating meth addiction.
